My "Passion" thoughts

I will not be seeing the film. Simply because I'm likely to hurl. Strange? Yes, of course it is. I can generally take a bit of gore (of the Lord of the Rings type). However, I'm stomach-sensitive enough that I want to hurl every time I see or hear Jack trying to teach Rose to spit in Titanic - and I suspect The Passion will invoke a lot more than that.

I understand that it's a moving film, a dramatic film, a realistic film and one that makes you rethink everything you ever considered about Jesus' death. But I don't think I'll make it through the film. I'm gonna have to stick to milder versions of the story, especially in public.

And that's the simple reason why I won't be seeing it.
