Tracking Globally

Late last week I installed Extreme Tracker on this blog, to see how it would work and such. Also did it for the website I manage at work, as we haven't tracked our visitors up to now. It's still a work in progress, and not sure if I'll keep both it and Sitemeter active or lose one of them.

Checking my stats today, I found that most of my visitors are from the USA (nearly half!), with South Africa (probably mostly me checking in), Australia and Canada following. Then come "Unknown", Malaysia, UK and New Zealand, all of whom I can sorta identify as "folk I know about". But I can't seem to think of "folk I know" from the following countries, which registered hits:

Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, France, Syrian Arab Republic, Mexico, India, Switzerland, Cote D'Ivoire, Philippines and the Russian Federation.

Heck, I don't think I've ever seen a blog from Mexico or Syria or Cote D'Ivoire or Russia! So if you've stopped by, and if you stop by again and read this and you're from one of the above countries, please let me know who you are! My curiosity is awakened! :)
