Happy Spring!

Yay, it's Spring! And what have I done to mark this occasion? Well, some baking:

The cupcakes went off to school with the kid for his class, the cake will be distributed around work later this morning.

And I got up early.

And in honour of Spring I shaved my legs (yup, you don't wanna go there!).

So what does a Spring morning look like? Well, remarkably like winter - except for this:

It's chilly with a strong north-west wind blowing - the kind that brings cold front after cold front slamming into the bottom of Africa. So winter ain't over yet. But we can't help celebrating anyway.
