A Good Day for Church

Checking out the weekend's expected weather, it seem the rain has gone and left us with two really nice weekend days. Just perfect for church!

And I don't mean the get-dressed-in-your-best, rush-to-a-building, hide-under-a-roof-and-fan-yourself-with-a-bulletin-for-an-hour kind of church. But the kind I'm going to be indulging in, while waving to my neighbours as they go off to the aforementioned kind.

The kind that involves sitting quietly out in God's glorious creation, breathing deeply of the fresh air He has given, learning from the greatness and smallness all around, meditating on His word and the words of others, just being for a while.

THAT is how church will look this weekend. And boy, do I need it.
