So I thought I'd have trouble getting up this morning. NOT! Tossed and turned (it's becoming a habit) most of the night, and woke up way before the alarm went off to a cold but clear and beautiful day, after two days of definitely winter weather. First thought was to go take the dogs for a quick walk around the block, but then I opened a drawer to find something and saw my old digital camera. Well, not that old, but the one we were using during our Terrorist Evangelism (boy, did that term garner "attention"!) and dropped, which then promptly stopped working.
Being the cheap variety, I had a sudden urge to take a screwdriver to it, open it up and see what's what inside. Which I did. And found a single loose part. And re-afixed it. And now the camera works! AWESOME!
So I promptly snapped a few shots of my busy-waking-up son, and the view outside, just to make sure. And then ran out of battery power. Oh well. Shopping this afternoon will sort out that minor issue.
Right now I'm listening to a really fave CD, really loud, just loaded on my computer for repeat performances, the sun is shining, it's Friday - all's good with the world!
And what did my view look like this morning, you ask? Well, for your viewing pleasure, here it is. (If it looks a bit misty, it's because I discovered the lens was a little dusty after I uploaded it)
