"Community" Service

So my son was caught, with half his class, chucking erasers at each other the other day in school. And they were all fined 5 bucks each, to be brought the next day. No guessing as to whose 5 bucks my son took...

But the cash came back at the end of the day, as no-one else had remembered theirs. Cool, back into my wallet it went.

And then the teacher decided everyone needs to bring their fine after all, due yesterday.

I forgot. Sorry. Son didn't remind me as he rushed out the door (having watched kid's TV until 2 minutes before the bell went - thank goodness it's a short trot down the hill from our house!).

This afternoon he gets to stay behind and help the janitor clean the school! Justice... :)
