Confessions and Geekiness

I have a confession to make. I hang my head in shame. Although I've been blogging for over two years and am an Honourary Geek when it comes to matters computer, I do not have an RSS-feed-thingy subscription!

Yes, if I visit your site I do so in the hope it's been updated - I don't just read it when it is.

No, I don't know which is the best RSS-feed-thingy, though I did try Bloglines once. It took too much effort to subscribe everything I read to it, update it, check through the feeds to make sure they were "read" etc. It's probably still subscribing to things, but I haven't looked at it in ages.

I don't know how they work, I don't know which one is the best, and I'm not sure if I should be experimenting.

Solution? Ask you guys of course! What do you recommend, and do you find it easier to use an RSS feed or simply click through your links?
