Let my ears be closed

There's a group of leaders discussing compulsory church attendance next door, trying to make it law.

I'm trying very hard not to barge in (through the open door, they didn't close it or make the meeting confidential in any way) and oject. Ask where the life-living of faith is. Question why attendance is the mark of a "good" person. And wonder if discipleship, mentoring, example and leading is ever considered.

I'm also trying very hard not to run away before they come over here and ask why I'm not in church... :)
