10 years without. 4 months for the body to kick in post Nur-Isterate injection. "Red letter day", "my grandma came to visit", "that time of the month" - call it what you will. But today I know why it's called a period. Because it brings you to a full stop. I forgot just how completely it does. But I ain't going back on that body-and-environment-destroying hormone treatment, not even for this.
