It's 8:30 at night and the cicadas are still zinging out back in the tree/s. After days of ongoing howling gale-force wind, fueling fires nearby, the evening is calm and beautiful. The stifling heat is gone - replaced by the merest cool on the breeze. Last night's full moon is remembered in a nearly-as-bright one outside, rising over the mountains.
I'm a summer chick.
It's nights like this that I love. Warm, calm, beckoning you outdoors.
I think I'm going to grab Favourite Man a bit later and take a night-time stroll.
