Digital Camera Ghosts

Here's a weird one for you - and if you thought I was remotely sane before, that theory is about to fly right out the window!

I've always been somewhat ghoulishly fascinated with reports of the supernatural, rather addicted to things like X-files and cryptozoology and standing stones (oh, how I love standing stones!) etc - but also a bit terrified of seeing an "actual" ghost. (What I believe with regards to what they are or aren't doesn't come into this post, but may at a later date)

And in trawling the net on one of those days when I was looking for intrigue, I noticed that more and more ghost pics are showing up on digital cameras...

Hm... I have a digital camera... I wonder...

So, in a tongue-in-cheek manner, I've determined to capture whatever it is that's showing up on digital images - at least once. Ghost or not.

Last night I took a couple of pics of the pitch-dark (using flash, of course), and one of the corner in the lounge that my dog stares at continuously - the one we assume has a "dog ghost" up near the roof - what else could the beast be looking at? :)

And what showed up?

Nothing. Nada. Niks.

Darn...

However - there's an ancient graveyard on campus. Perhaps that's where I should be aiming my shots?

OK, enough meaningless chatter - got a lot of catching up on Actual Work to do now that I've met the deadline for Other's Work. If I ever spot something strange on my little digital screen, you'll see it here!

(regular blogging will resume later in the day once I've worked my way through the pile of processed trees and ink on my desk)
